IDF destroys underground Hezbollah complex at Lebanon's Ali al-Taher

On Friday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a surprise drill in the West Bank, mobilizing all battalions in the Judea and Samaria Division. This operational readiness exercise aimed to prepare for the upcoming holiday period.

During a speech at the Republican National Committee midterm convention in Dallas, Orna Neutra, whose son Omer was killed in the October 7 attacks, made a connection between the anniversary of September 11 and the ongoing conflict. Reflecting on her own loss, Neutra, who was 8 months pregnant in New York City during the 2001 attacks, emphasized the shared hatred, glorification of murder, and responsibility to stand together against it.

President Donald Trump, during an interview on Fox News, stated that he does not regret going to war against Iran, despite the potential impact on the November U.S. midterm elections. He firmly dismissed concerns that some of his supporters might be demoralized by the conflict, instead expressing pride in not allowing Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon. Trump also suggested that the war would end immediately after the midterm elections, claiming that Iran was attempting to influence the outcome of those elections.
