Flowers, fishing villages and a mirror to the sky in Bagan Datuk

Bagan Datuk, located three hours from Kuala Lumpur, offers a quieter escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The garden is designed with camera enthusiasts in mind, offering swings, colorful bridges, and photo opportunities such as a heart-shaped arch and a "stairway to heaven."

A short boat ride from the jetty takes visitors to the Beting Beras Basah sandbank, where receding tides create a mirror-like surface reflecting the sky, giving it the nickname "Sky Mirror." This unique natural phenomenon is only visible at certain times of the month, making it a sought-after experience for tourists. The Bagan Datuk area also includes the Sungai Burung Aquarium, which features freshwater fish, rabbits, and peacocks, as well as 3D illusion murals.

For a serene end to the day, the Tuminah Hamidi Mosque, situated beside the Perak River, offers a beautiful floating-style architecture with a spacious prayer hall, high ceilings, and elegant Islamic calligraphy. The mosque can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers and provides ample parking for visitors. The combination of a fishing village, sunflowers, a boat ride to the Sky Mirror, and a riverside sunset allows travelers to experience various distinct attractions in one short getaway.
