Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 1.41%

Colombian stocks declined at the close of trade on Friday, amid losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors, with the Colombia Stock Exchange's COLCAP index falling 1.41%. The best performers of the session were Cementos Argos SA, which rose 3.09% to 11,360.00, and Celsia SA, which increased 1.75% to 4,935.00.

Ecopetrol SA also saw a 1.27% rise to 2,795.00. In contrast, Etb fell 6.57% to 128.00, Grupo Nutresa SA dropped 3.01% to 306,500.00, and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA decreased 1.56% to 22,780.00. The number of stocks that fell exceeded those that rose by a margin of 0 to 0. Coffee futures for December delivery experienced a 1.35% decrease to $284.25, while US cocoa for December declined by 0.82% to $5,913.00.

December Gold Futures also slipped by 0.39% to $4,390.00 per troy ounce. The USD/COP exchange rate slipped 0.26% to 3,091.72, while BRL/COP fell by 0.58% to 603.52, and the US Dollar Index Futures index rose marginally by 0.04% to 99.09.
