Basic materials, industrials lift Sri Lankan shares higher
Sri Lankan shares closed higher on Friday, after four sessions of losses, led by basic materials and industrials stocks. The CSE All-Share index settled 0.12% higher at 21,382.74 points. Haycarb Plc and Cargills (Ceylon) Plc were the top index points gainers, up 9.96 points and 6.66 points, respectively, on the day.
