49ers rookie WR De’Zhaun Stribling ruled out with an ankle injury

In Melbourne, Australia, the San Francisco 49ers' rookie wide receiver, De’Zhaun Stribling, was ruled out of his NFL debut due to an ankle injury. Stribling hurt his ankle during the first half of the game against the Los Angeles Rams, but he returned to the field. However, he limped after running a route in the second quarter and left the game on a cart, ultimately being deemed out for the remainder of the match.

Stribling, the 49ers' top draft pick in April, had an impressive preseason and was expected to contribute significantly to the team this season. In his first two preseason games, he amassed 11 catches for 109 yards, securing a starting position. The 49ers have already lost another receiver, Ricky Pearsall, to a season-ending knee injury.
