2027: NDC has candidates for all elective positions across Nigeria – Victor Umeh

Anambra Central Senator Victor Umeh has announced that the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) will field candidates for all elective positions in Nigeria's 2027 general elections. Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show, Umeh stated, "If a party is present in all the constituencies in Nigeria with candidates contesting the election, the party will be closer to the polling units."

The lawmaker emphasized that having candidates at the polling units is crucial for the party's representation. Umeh further revealed that NDC has initiated a structure with 13-man executives to safeguard votes during the elections. He elaborated, "Within us, we have already started preparing the way to build polling agents. NDC has a structure where every polling unit will have 13 people dedicated to duty on the day of the election."
