14 kawasan catat IPU tak sihat pagi ini

Malaysia's air quality watchdog reported on Tuesday that 14 regions across the country recorded unhealthy levels of airborne pollutants this morning. According to the Malaysia Air Pollution Index Management System (APIMS), eleven of these 14 locations are in Sarawak, including Serian, Kuching, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Sarikei, Samalaju, Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu, Miri, and Miri.

The highest reading of 197 was recorded in Serian, followed by 181 in Kuching, 179 in Samarahan, and 172 in Sri Aman. In Sabah, Politeknik Kota Kinabalu reported an IPU reading of 150, while Johor's Pasir Gudang and Labuan recorded readings of 109 and 103, respectively. Overall, 49 regions across the country were reported to be in the moderate range, while five recorded good air quality.

Air quality readings between 0 and 50 indicate good air quality, 51 and 100 suggest moderate air quality, 101 and 200 indicate unhealthy air quality, 201 and 300 suggest very poor air quality, and readings above 301 are considered hazardous.
