‘Where would you get a kilo of gold?’: Aishwarya Lekshmi slams bizarre wedding rumours

Aishwarya Lekshmi has grown weary of the rumors surrounding her personal life and family. During an interview with Ranjini Haridas, she addressed claims about her parents' professions and an alleged video showing a house that purportedly belonged to her. One particularly bizarre rumor suggested her parents had purchased a kilo of gold for her wedding.

Aishwarya questioned the source of such a large amount of gold, asking sarcastically, "Where would you even get one kilogram of gold from?" Recalling the rumor, she recalled telling her father, "Shouldn't that itself make you realize that the person simply made the whole thing up?" Another video claimed her family resided in an extravagantly large house, which Aishwarya dismissed as untrue, as her actual home was far from grand.

Additionally, Aishwarya addressed the false assertion that her parents were doctors, clarifying that her father worked at the Secretariat and her mother at PMG, both employed as government employees. The actor also discussed how trolling over her clothing choices had impacted her family, with people in their hometown often inquiring about her outfits and causing friction with her mother.

Despite their friendly relationship, Aishwarya occasionally seeks her mother's input on her fashion choices to alleviate the stress caused by public scrutiny. Aishwarya Lekshmi also shared a past relationship where she was betrayed by a man she trusted entirely. She noted that the betrayal was particularly painful because she had placed her complete trust in him.

However, the revelation did not anger her for long, as she let it go within just two days. Professionally, Aishwarya is set to appear in the Malayalam film 'Aasha,' which is slated for release on September 11.
