Wanita Umno will not forget Najib's contributions, says Noraini

Wanita Umno, the female wing of the Malaysian Umno party, will not forget the contributions of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, said its leader Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad. Speaking at a Wanita Umno delegates' conference, Noraini emphasized that Najib's contributions to national development, economic transformation, infrastructure, assistance to citizens, and Umno's struggle are part of the country's history and should not be disregarded due to changing political circumstances.

Noraini highlighted the importance of remembering those who have contributed significantly to the party and the country, stating that the group appreciates its former leaders who devoted much of their lives to Umno and Malaysia. She reiterated that Wanita Umno respects institutions and legal processes, even as they face challenges in court, but this respect does not prevent them from showing compassion and humanity.

Addressing Najib and his family directly, Noraini extended the prayers of Wanita Umno, wishing them strength and resilience as they navigate their legal challenges. She expressed hope that justice and compassion will prevail, allowing Najib to return to his family and continue the struggle alongside the party.
