Suspected love triangle ends in midnight abduction — and a police chase

In Pune, India, a suspected love triangle tragically culminated in a midnight abduction, followed by a police chase. Hotelier Sagar Ramesh Borade and several accomplices allegedly abducted Prasad Suryawanshi, a 28-year-old man. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday, near Tilak Road. Suryawanshi was approached by the suspects, who allegedly forced him into a car and drove away.

However, the kidnapping quickly prompted a swift response from authorities. Tracking the vehicle, police located the car and rescued Suryawanshi within approximately an hour following the alleged abduction. Two suspects, Sagar Borade and Kishor Balasaheb Sawant, were subsequently arrested. Authorities are still searching for two additional suspects believed to have been involved.

The incident allegedly stemmed from Borade's suspicions that Suryawanshi had become close to the woman with whom he himself was in a relationship. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the abduction and the alleged roles of the other suspects is ongoing.
