Sarawak heli crash: Wife bids farewell, tells victim to 'fly high'

Stephanie Essah, the wife of Alexson Adit Henry, has paid tribute to her husband who tragically lost his life in a Flying Doctor Service helicopter crash near Long Lellang, Ulu Baram. In a heartfelt message on Threads, Stephanie shared a family photo with their two children, Candy and Ivan, and wished her husband to fly high and have a good rest.

She also expressed her gratitude towards her husband and assured him that her love for him would never change. Stephanie's message was accompanied by the song "Hanya Rindu" by Andmesh, and she ended her tribute by wishing Alexson a peaceful rest and a final loving message to her husband. The incident occurred around 1:30 pm on Tuesday when a BO-105 helicopter operated by Hornbill Skyways crashed near the Short Take-Off and Landing port (STOLport) strip in Long Lellang, Ulu Baram.

All five individuals on board, including Alexson, who served as an assistant medical officer, lost their lives in the crash.
