Tampa Bay has also outscored Atlanta 14-3 in the first two games of the series. Jax highlighted the team's young age, with relatively little experience, and suggested that facing the Braves at home provided them with a taste of what they could achieve in the postseason playoffs.

The Rays displayed their offensive prowess by hitting four home runs in the first game of the series. Victor Mesa Jr. contributed two hits, including a home run, during Wednesday night's game. Mesa emphasized the team's belief in each other, stating that regardless of individual performance, they always support one another.

Manager Kevin Cash expressed his belief that the Rays' hitters are in peak form as they approach their final homestand before the playoffs. Cash praised Mesa's two-run single in the second inning, which significantly contributed to the Rays' 3-0 lead. Cash also mentioned the team's reliance on utilizing all of their lineup to generate offense, whether starting players or late-inning replacements.
