NPP National Organiser race: Titus-Glover’s campaign reacts to Salam Mustapha’s withdrawal

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Organiser aspirant, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover's campaign has rejected allegations that Mustapha Salam withdrew from the race under pressure or intervention from the party or anyone else. According to the campaign, Salam's decision to withdraw was a personal one, based on his evaluation of the contest and his chances of securing the National Organiser position.

The campaign's statement, signed by Stonewall Quartey, an aide to Titus-Glover, urged NPP members and supporters to respect Salam's decision and not speculate on the reasons behind his withdrawal. The campaign emphasized that the circumstances surrounding Salam's decision should be allowed to stand on their own, rather than being attributed to pressure from the party or its structures.

Meanwhile, Titus-Glover is set to carry on his nationwide campaign leading up to the NPP National Executive elections scheduled for October 3, 2026. The campaign assured that he would maintain interaction with delegates, hear their concerns, and present a clear vision for strengthening the party. The campaign expressed confidence in the delegates to independently decide who should hold the National Organiser position, stating that the decision and mandate both belong to the delegates, and they have faith in their judgment.
