In contrast, Apple's iPhone Duo features speakers on opposite halves, diagonally placed, creating a more balanced layout for various media consumption activities such as videos, games, and music. Despite the Galaxy Z Fold 8 being Samsung's most mature book-style foldable after seven years of refinement, buyers should not have to accept obvious compromises like this speaker arrangement as quirks of the form factor.

Apple's first attempt at entering the foldable market has addressed several limitations Samsung still expects Fold buyers to tolerate, demonstrating that the iPhone Duo is a more balanced choice in several key areas, including speaker placement.
