Key figures involved include Deputy Chairman Azrul Azhar Abd Ghani, Deputy Chairman Sombun Crem Sombun, Party President Norazida Mohd Azmi, along with the entire Women's Wing and Muda Women's Wing executive committee, as well as the entire Women's Muda Wing and Armada executive committee. Additionally, 10 branch presidents out of 26 branches in the area followed suit.

The relevant faction representative, also a member of Bersatu Arau Roshita Buyong, stated that the decision was a result of central leadership's decision to appoint Padang Besar's Deputy Chairman Izizam Ibrahim as the new Head of the Bersatu Perlis Leadership, without prior consultation with state and local leadership. "We view such a major decision as one that must consider the views of the state and local leadership, which have long driven the party on the ground.

This is our political stance, and we are accountable for this decision," she said during a media briefing here tonight. Roshita explained that this was not an emotional decision, but rather a collective decision after a serious assessment of their political direction. Yesterday, Deputy Chairman Kangar Faisol Rahman, along with the branch executive committee and 90 out of 99 branch presidents in the area, announced their party resignation and job cuts.

This included several key figures from the branch Armada, Women's Wing, and Women's Muda Wing, including Kangar Branch Armada Deputy President Mohd Firdaus Ismail and all Armada branch executive committee members. On Tuesday, Bersatu Arau Arau leadership, along with 14 branch presidents out of 24 branches in the area, also announced the termination of their positions and resignation from the party.

The Bersatu Arau Arau leadership involved includes Deputy Chairman Ramzi Md Udi, Deputy Chairman Ramli Aripin, Deputy Party President Fazuwin Razak, Muda Party President Nurul Hafiza Ramli, and two Armada executive committee members, Zulkefli Hassan and Nazri Khamis.
