Riyadh becomes only Gulf city among world’s top 100 innovation clusters

In a significant outreach, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s three-day investment trip to Dubai has attracted over Rs 53,000 crore worth of investment proposals. Yadav, who visited the UAE on September 6-8, sought to position the state as a key manufacturing and investment hub, bridging global capital with technology, supply chains and markets.

The visit involved meetings with senior UAE officials and prominent global companies to discuss prospects in various sectors such as logistics, food processing, education, artificial intelligence, green energy, e-mobility, and waste-to-energy. DP World expressed interest in developing Pawarkheda into a multimodal logistics hub that would connect farmers, farmer-producer organizations (FPOs), micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and industries with national and global markets.

Sharaf Group is also considering a logistics park valued at Rs 30-50 million, which could generate an estimated 300-600 jobs.

The UAE further hinted at sending a high-level delegation to Madhya Pradesh to look into potential investments in tourism and hospitality. In addition, discussions took place on expanding air connectivity between the two regions. Technology collaborations were a significant aspect of the visit as well. The World Bank looked into potential cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital governance, while BEEAH explored waste management, waste-to-energy solutions, and circular economy ideas, including the expansion of Indore’s solid-waste and Bio-CNG model.
