New Ghanaian movie ‘Two’ to explore crime, faith and moral ambiguity

A new Ghanaian neo-noir film titled "Two" is set to be released, delving into themes of crime, faith, and moral ambiguity. The movie, produced by Bravado!, LL Productions, Apstairs Media, and WM Media, follows the story of a former criminal who has retired and now leads a conservative life in the church. He falls in love with Elara, a fellow church member, and together they build a life.

However, his past catches up with him when his mentor and boss, Vic, returns to his life. This prompts the protagonist to confront his past and make choices that will define his future.

The film explores the duality of good and evil, the distinction between perception and reality, and moral ambiguity. It is set in the bustling city of Accra and its surroundings, showcasing the high-energy atmosphere of the city alongside the solemnity of church life in a small Ghanaian church. The juxtaposition of light and dark elements of the city is a recurring motif throughout the story.
