Luis Enrique hails ‘marvellous’ Dembele as PSG win big in Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique praised his star player Ousmane Dembele for a remarkable performance, as PSG secured a dominant 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League. Dembele scored two goals and provided two assists, displaying his creativity and pressing ability. The French forward had been given limited playing time earlier in the season due to fitness concerns following the World Cup.

Additionally, Dembele set up two goals for fellow French forward Ferran Torres, who scored a hat-trick in his European debut for the Paris side. Fabian Ruiz secured the fourth goal for Paris.

Despite benching key attackers Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue, PSG managed to dominate the match despite the absence of these two players. Coach Luis Enrique commended his counterpart, Slovan Bratislava manager Yaya Toure, for the intense atmosphere of the game. Toure admitted that the match was tough for them due to PSG's pressing game, but expressed confidence in his team's potential.

The former Barcelona and Manchester City midfielder underlined that Paris Saint-Germain is a strong contender to win the Champions League title once again.
