The new football features in Search are set to enhance the experience for fans during the U.S. football season. These upgrades include a Live Game Feed, detailed player and league stats, and the option to integrate with fantasy football accounts for personalized recommendations. The Live Game Feed, accessible by searching for an ongoing game and looking for the red "Live" icon, provides real-time updates featuring a game recap, play-by-play notes, top social commentary, key video highlights, and AI-powered insights.

This feature is currently available on mobile in the U.S. in English and will soon support collegiate teams and expand to more global users.

Additionally, when searching for a game matchup, users can now view scores for other games in the league directly in the carousel, eliminating the need to search individually. New stats will highlight league leaders in categories such as passing touchdowns, rushing yards, sacks, fumbles, and yards after catch. Looking ahead, Search will also display championship favorites and playoff brackets.

Fantasy football enthusiasts can further customize their experience by linking their Yahoo Fantasy or Sleeper accounts with Search, enabling AI Mode to provide tailored insights like start/sit recommendations, waiver wire targets, draft pick assessments, and weekly league recaps without manual data input. This feature is now available in the U.S. in English, aiming to improve the fantasy football experience for users of all skill levels.

Fans are encouraged to provide feedback through the thumbs up or thumbs down button on AI responses to help refine the service. With these new tools, the season promises to be more immersive than ever.
