England striker Ivan Toney clashes with own teammates as Al Ahli lose to Al Qadsiah in Saudi Pro League

Al Qadsiah secured second place in the Saudi Pro League table after a 3-2 victory over Al Ahli in Dammam on Tuesday. New signing Tijjani Reijnders from Manchester City scored twice, leading the team to a commanding halftime lead. The match resembled a previous intense clash between the two teams last March. Al Ahli players reportedly engaged in post-match altercations, with England striker Ivan Toney clashing with teammate Mohammed Abdulrahman during the second period.

Toney was also seen arguing with the referee and defender Merih Demiral. The result suggests Qadsiah may become a strong contender to challenge Saudi giants Al Hilal and Al Nassr, while Al Ahli continues to struggle under new manager Marino Pusic, who took over in the summer. Reijnders, who joined from Manchester City this summer, opened the scoring in the 14th minute and scored again in the third minute of stoppage time.

Right-back Mohammed Abu Al Shamat added a second goal in first-half stoppage time, and Reijnders completed his hat-trick with a header in the 3rd minute of the second half. Al Ahli fought back with goals from Toney in the 63rd minute and another in the 82nd minute, but were unable to equalize and suffered their third loss of the season.

Qadsiah has won five of their first six matches and are now tied with leaders Al Hilal on 15 points, with a narrow advantage on goal difference.
