Charles Sampson demands more confidence in front of goal from Black Princesses

Black Princesses head coach Charles Sampson has called for greater confidence in front of goal as his team prepares for a pivotal U-20 Women’s World Cup match against South Korea. Ghana's opening Group stage game in Poland ended in a 3-0 loss to Ecuador, where they failed to score. Sampson acknowledged the need for a boost in confidence in the final third, stating that it has been a central focus during training sessions.

"We have always been good to go. We work on the last third all the time, we just need to give them more confidence in it," he remarked. The coach emphasized that consistent practice in front of goal is aimed at scoring more goals and instilling confidence. Ghana will need to be more clinical in their approach against South Korea as they strive to recover from their recent setback.

Despite the challenges, Sampson maintains confidence that the training can lead to an enhanced attacking performance when the team returns to action.
