Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro series arrives with updated photography features and Apple’s first folding phone, the Duo!

Apple has unveiled its highly anticipated iPhone 18 series, featuring enhanced camera capabilities and an innovative folding phone, the Duo. The flagship devices, iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, boast a versatile aperture range for the main camera, ranging from f/1.48 to f/4, with additional intermediate settings. The new phones also offer advanced manual controls for professional photography and video, along with a new "Apple Reference Image" feature that verifies a photo's origin from an iPhone 18 Pro device.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max comes equipped with a larger 48MP ultrawide camera and a 100mm telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. The selfie camera remains at 18MP. Additionally, the iPhone Duo, Apple's first folding phone, introduces a 7.6-inch screen and a dual camera system, making it the largest screen among iPhones. Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 series commence on September 12, with shipments expected to begin on September 19.
