Apple launches its first ever foldable phone iPhone Duo

On Wednesday, Apple unveiled its inaugural foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, entering a market currently led by Samsung and Google. The device features the innovative Liquid Glass design and runs iOS 27 natively. The iPhone Duo boasts a 5.4-inch cover display with Touch ID positioned on the side panel, as well as top and bottom speakers. Constructed with titanium grade 5 for enhanced durability, the phone incorporates ceramic shield at both front and back, providing robust protection.

The iPhone Duo accommodates tent mode and allows for the viewing of two applications side by side. It is equipped with a large 7.6-inch main OLED display offering a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. This model features a remarkable battery life, lasting up to 31 hours on the primary display and 44 hours on the cover display. The phone supports fast charging, ensuring users can quickly recharge their device.

Powered by the A20 Pro processor, the iPhone Duo starts at 256 GB of storage capacity. The camera setup includes a 48 MP main lens and a 48 MP ultrawide lens, while the cover display sports a 12 MP camera. An under-display FaceTime camera is also integrated into the main screen. The iPhone Duo is IP68 rated, providing robust resistance to both dust and water.

Available in Star White and Night Sky colors, the iPhone Duo is priced at $1,999 in the United States, translating to approximately ₹2,99,900 in India.
