White House takes down ‘Build the Wall’ game after the Tetris Company complains

The White House recently removed a controversial game called "Build the Wall" from its website after receiving complaints from the Tetris Company. The game closely resembled the popular Tetris gameplay, with players stacking blocks of various shapes and sizes. However, "Build the Wall" had a controversial goal: to construct a wall to prevent a "zombie border siege."

Critics labeled the game as racist. The Tetris Company, the owners of the original Tetris game, had no involvement in the creation of "Build the Wall" and emphasized their stance against copyright infringement. Following the public disclosure of the game, the White House decided to take it down. The page for "Build the Wall" now displays a "404" error, indicating its removal.

Despite its removal, another game titled "Rio Run" remains on the government's website. In "Rio Run," players control a white male character who aims to deport as many immigrant characters as possible.
