We’ll run all-inclusive administration—COKA

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, known as "COKA," has announced that the party's new leadership will implement an all-inclusive administration aimed at bolstering the NPP's prospects of winning the 2028 elections. Appiah emphasized that every party member, regardless of their support during the internal election, must contribute to the NPP's victory.

He stressed that members should set aside the internal contest, "forgive one another," and unite to strengthen the party. Appiah cited the biblical story of Joseph and his brothers, urging members to learn from Joseph's forgiveness to heal the party and enhance cohesion. The new leadership will ensure that no dissenting members are sidelined, stating, "we will no longer entertain camps."

General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong affirmed that the party's recent regional election victory was a triumph for the party as a whole, not an individual. He urged members to unite to advance the party's agenda. The region has a critical role in the 2028 elections, and Frimpong called on the leadership to work diligently to achieve a vote difference of 1.5 million between the NPP and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Frimpong expressed confidence in the new leadership's ability to fulfill their mandate and urged party members to rally behind them for a decisive victory in the upcoming general election.

Delivering a sermon at a thanksgiving service at Gracefields Chapel-Havilah City Temple in Ahodwo-Kumasi, Appiah, described as "COKA," cautioned against arrogance among party members following their electoral victory. He reminded them that attaining political power is a responsibility, not a right, and emphasized the importance of hard work and unity to regain the trust and support of the people.
