The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2 and Accessories Are Going Up for Preorder

Nintendo has unveiled a special edition of The Legend of Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and related accessories in time for the game's 40th anniversary. Available for preorder at retailers such as Best Buy and Nintendo, the new hardware features a Hyrulian-themed design throughout.

The console itself sports green Joy-Cons 2 with an interlocking triangle pattern and a golden Triforce at the bottom of the left grip. The dock, too, features a golden and black Triforce design, adding to the overall aesthetic. Notably, this edition of the Nintendo Switch 2 does not come bundled with a game.

For those who prefer a more integrated controller, Nintendo has created a 40th anniversary Zelda-themed Switch 2 Pro Controller. This controller combines the designs of the Joy-Cons 2 and the dock into one unit, with a black left grip, green right grip, and a black and gold Triforce face plate. It is priced at $69.99 with a stand, and $69.99 without.

To further complete the collection, Nintendo is also selling a Zelda-themed carrying case for the Switch 2. This case is black and gold, featuring a Triforce design with green zipper pulls, adding a touch of elegance to the bundle. These accessories will be available for preorder starting October 29, just a few days before the remastered Ocarina of Time release.
