Sheikh Hamdan praises performance of Dubai schools in global evaluation

Dubai's private schools have been hailed as among the world's top 10 education systems in all sectors by a new Programme for International Student Assessment (Pisa) 2025 report. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister, expressed his pride in the emirate's education system, stating that the results demonstrate the strength and ongoing progress of Dubai's schools, teachers, students, and parents.

The UAE outperformed all other Arab nations in reading, science, and mathematics, and was one of only eight countries and economies that improved their performance from the previous assessment in 2022. Sheikh Hamdan congratulated the education community, emphasizing the collective efforts that led to this success and expressing confidence in continued progress and excellence.

Dubai's private schools ranked sixth globally in reading with an average score of 501 points, eighth in mathematics with 511 points, and ninth in science with 522 points. They also stood out in computational problem solving, ranking ninth globally with an average score of 534 points, outperforming the global average by 34 points.

This achievement positions Dubai among the world's leading education systems and supports the UAE's aspirations for global competitiveness and its leading position. Sheikh Hamdan reiterated the emirate's commitment to raising educational expectations and enhancing quality outcomes, aligning with the UAE's vision for the future and its people-centric development model.
