APC set to lose Political heavyweight as Haske takes formidable structure to APM

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State is bracing for a political earthquake as businessman and gubernatorial candidate Abdulrahman Bashir Haske prepares to shift allegiance to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) prior to the 2027 elections. An insider, Alhaji Hussaini Ahmadu Har, disclosed that Haske's political apparatus is being reconfigured for the APM.

Har characterized the defection as "a political tsunami" that could reshape Adamawa's political terrain. He revealed that numerous Haske supporters have already defected to the APM. Har announced on his verified Facebook profile, "The movement is a fight to the finish. Do not be left out of the train of victory. Come back to reality and join the movement."

He added, "Abdulrahman Haske is coming in 2027, and by God's grace, he will win." Despite being considered one of the APC's top governorship contenders in Adamawa, Haske's camp claims he was excluded from the party's primary selection process. If his anticipated migration to the APM materializes, it could spell a significant blow to the APC, given Haske's widespread popularity, robust grassroots network, and robust political infrastructure across the state.

Although Haske is presently outside Adamawa, anticipation of his defection is escalating. It is believed that his move to the APM could spark a domino effect of defections from other parties, including the APC, African Democratic Congress, Labour Party, and others. Supporters of Haske allege that he was forcefully expelled from the APC by vested interests wary of his burgeoning influence and political aspirations.
