Mauritania condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi cities

Mauritania has strongly condemned recent Houthi attacks on various Saudi cities, expressing deep sorrow over the injuries sustained by civilians, including women and children. The attacks on multiple cities in Saudi Arabia have been roundly condemned by Mauritania. In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mauritania reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia.

The statement emphasized the kingdom's right to take any measures necessary to safeguard its territory, citizens, and overall security and stability. Mauritania made it clear that any threat to Saudi Arabia's security is, in essence, a threat to Mauritania's own security. The attacks on commercial vessels and the looming threat to maritime security and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea were also strongly condemned by Mauritania.

The nation calls for an immediate cessation of these attacks, asserting that doing so is crucial for maintaining the security and stability of the region and providing support to efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen.
