Now, they are aiming for a historic treble. Their captain, Marquinhos, acknowledges the challenge, stating that it will be a tough journey with many obstacles ahead.

The Qatar-owned club had endured years of disappointment in Europe, but their fortunes changed after hiring former Barcelona and Spain coach Luis Enrique in 2023. Under Enrique's guidance, PSG advanced to the semi-finals in their first season and triumphed in the 2025 Champions League final, defeating Inter Milan 5-0.
