Huawei launches four regional AI healthcare solutions at HIMSS26 Singapore

Huawei unveiled four healthcare artificial intelligence solutions alongside industry partners during the HIMSS26 Asia Pacific digital health forum hosted in Singapore

During the AI for Health, Health for All forum at HIMSS26 APAC in Singapore, Huawei and its partners unveiled four AI+ Healthcare Solution Scenarios aimed at accelerating AI adoption in healthcare. The smart ward scenario, a collaboration between Huawei, Cadi Scientific, and Lachesis, introduced the AI+ Smart Ward Solution. This innovative solution integrates continuous vital-sign monitoring, intelligent sensing, real-time locating systems (RTLS), and smart medical carts to transform care from periodic monitoring to continuous observation.

By streamlining point-of-care workflows, reducing repetitive nursing tasks, and enabling earlier risk detection, it enhances patient safety and improves ward operational efficiency.

In the pathology scenario, Huawei partnered with TEKSQRAY to launch the AI+ Pathology Scenario Solution. By combining TEKSQRAY's digital pathology and AI capabilities with Huawei's OceanStor, this solution moves past manual microscope-based slide examination to AI-powered analysis of digitized pathology images. This shift enables faster, more consistent, and data-driven disease diagnosis, and transitions from single case research to population level insights.

By alleviating repetitive diagnostic workloads and bridging gaps in pathology expertise, it improves diagnostic efficiency and ensures consistent, high-quality pathology services for patients.

The clinical decision support scenario (CDSS), co-developed by Huawei and GuidelineX, was showcased during the forum. Supported by Huawei's OceanStor and Ascend, this solution augments clinical decision-making with AI-assisted diagnosis, evidence-based treatment support, and early risk alerts. By assisting clinicians in making more precise and consistent decisions, it enhances the patient experience.

Lastly, the full-cycle clinical intelligence scenario, launched in collaboration with Runda Medical Technology, leverages Huawei's OceanStor and Ascend to coordinate AI across care workflows. This solution brings AI coordination to patient care, enabling multi-step workflow orchestration. By shifting patient journey management from reactive to proactive, it streamlines care delivery and allows clinicians to focus more on patient care.
