Hoda Kotb Tears Up During ‘Practical Magic 2’ Interview After Telling Sandra Bullock She Changed Her Life

On the set of "Making Space," Hoda Kotb was overcome with emotion as Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman joined her for an interview about the upcoming film "Practical Magic 2." Kotb recounted how the star had transformed her life by convincing her to adopt children. At the time, Kotb, now 52, had realized she had missed her chance to have biological children and felt deeply regretful.

Searching for someone with whom she could share this milestone, she recalled, "I literally Googled, 'How old is Sandra Bullock?' She's my exact age, and I burst into tears." In response to her call, Bullock agreed to an interview where she shared her own journey of adopting her son Louis 10 years ago. The revelation prompted Kotb's heartfelt response, affirming that their conversation had "changed the course of my life."

Now, Kotb has a daughter in fourth grade and another entering second grade, expressing profound gratitude for the life-altering conversation. Bullock, 53, has two children of her own: Louis, 16, and Laila, 12. "Practical Magic 2" is set to premiere in theaters this Friday.
