Enviro Infra Engineers Wins ₹189.99 Crore Order, Subsidiary To Develop 180 MW NTPC Wind Project

Mumbai: Suyog Urja Limited, the step-down subsidiary of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited, has been awarded a turnkey contract valued at Rs 189.99 crore by Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited. This contract pertains to the development of an 180 MW NTPC wind power project at Parli in Maharashtra. The contract, awarded on September 7, 2026, has a completion deadline of March 31, 2027.

The order, intimated to Suyog Urja on September 8 at 11.24 am, excludes GST and necessitates a rapid mobilization of equipment, manpower, and construction materials to meet the stringent deadline. The project requires the construction of wind turbine generator foundations, supply of reinforcement steel, geotechnical work, and balance-of-plant activities.

Additionally, Suyog Urja will develop a 39-acre storage yard to store materials during construction. The company will also handle right-of-way arrangements for smooth transportation of equipment and materials to the site. This includes constructing permanent and temporary roads, pathways, and crane pads essential for moving heavy wind turbine components and deploying large cranes.

The subsidiary will also execute construction and commissioning work for the 33 kilovolt transmission lines, facilitating the evacuation of electricity generated by the wind turbines. Enviro Infra Engineers confirms that neither its promoters nor promoter-group companies have any stake in Tata Power Renewable Energy, the entity awarding the contract.

The transaction is not classified as a related-party transaction, according to the regulatory disclosure. This order bolsters Enviro Infra Engineers’ presence in renewable-energy infrastructure and broadens its execution portfolio beyond its established environmental infrastructure operations.
