Dorothy’s Hope Foundation to host women’s health forum, gala in New York

The Dorothy’s Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Ghana, will host two significant events focusing on women's health and breast cancer advocacy in New York this year. The first event, the Health is Wealth Forum, is scheduled for September 24, 2026, during the 81st United Nations General Assembly side event. The Forum will focus on empowering women through leadership and global impact, bringing together influential women leaders, healthcare professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, creatives, and diaspora leaders.

These attendees will discuss strategic partnerships, shared learning, and collective action to improve women's health, economic empowerment, and overall well-being.

The second event, the Brushes of Strength Fundraising Gala, will take place on October 23, 2026, at 6pm EST in a black-tie format. This distinguished event will honor the courage and resilience of breast cancer survivors while emphasizing the need to move beyond awareness to ensure meaningful access, action, support, and improved outcomes for patients.

The Gala will feature a gathering of eminent dignitaries, celebrated personalities, influential leaders, philanthropists, and organizations committed to advancing women's health and well-being. Media organizations from Ghana, New York, and the diaspora are encouraged to participate in amplifying these critical conversations and extending the impact of these initiatives across the Atlantic.
