Delhi: PG Owner Pushes Female Journalist During Inspection Of Another PG In Satyaniketan Area; Video Goes Viral

In a heated confrontation captured on video in Delhi’s Satyaniketan area, a female journalist confronted a PG owner during an inspection of another accommodation. The incident occurred shortly after a building collapse, which has heightened scrutiny over PG accommodations in the area. The journalist questioned the space and facilities at the PG, prompting the owner to push her and attempt to stop the recording.

The journalist alleges that the owner grabbed the accompanying male reporter as well. Despite the PG owner denying the allegations, the journalist insisted he remove his hand from the camera, asserting it as her personal asset. The confrontation intensified as the journalist questioned the building’s fire safety, emergency exits, and available routes.

The video has sparked discussions about the safety and living conditions of PG accommodations in Satyaniketan following the fatal building collapse on September 6, which left six people dead and eleven rescued from the rubble.
