D’Angelo and Angie Stone’s Son Will Play the Notorious B.I.G. in the Snoop Dogg Biopic
This will be the first major acting role for Michael D'Angelo Archer II, who's also been releasing music as SwayvoTwain
SwayvoTwain, the son of late R&B stars D’Angelo and Angie Stone, will portray The Notorious B.I.G. in the upcoming Snoop Dogg biopic. The film is set to be released on August 6, 2027, by Universal Pictures. Despite their differences, Snoop Dogg and Biggie had a friendly relationship during the mid-1990s. SwayvoTwain, also a recording artist, confirmed the news on Instagram.
The film will be directed by Hustle & Flow's Craig Brewer and produced by 8 Mile producer Brian Grazer. Other cast members include Bentley Green as RBX and G Perico as Big Reecie Cup.
