BTS concludes N. American tour with record-breaking LA shows

K-pop sensation BTS has concluded its North American leg of the Arirang world tour, concluding a series of record-breaking concerts in Los Angeles. The 31-show tour across 12 cities, including El Paso, Mexico City, and New York, drew an estimated 1.92 million fans across the continent. The final four-day shows at SoFi Stadium last Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as Saturday and Sunday, attracted around 282,000 attendees and were watched by a global audience of 177 countries on the K-pop fan community platform Weverse.

BTS has now played eight shows at SoFi Stadium, a record for any act, and has drawn a total of about 496,000 fans at the venue, surpassing any previous attendance. The group celebrated the birthdays of Jungkook and RM during the tour, with fans cheering for both during their respective performances. During "Body to Body," fans synchronized their singing with the national Korean flag and Arirang folk song from the band's fifth studio album.

In closing remarks, BTS expressed their happiness at every moment, hoping to maintain a connection with fans worldwide. The septet will now embark on a South American leg, starting in Bogota on October 2, followed by performances in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo.
