2027: SDP Adebayo unveils manifesto, promises end to insecurity

Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), unveiled the SDP's 2027-2031 manifesto titled "Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity" in Abuja. The manifesto outlines a commitment to ending insecurity and improving Nigeria's economy within four years if the SDP wins the 2027 presidential election. Adebayo challenged incumbent President Bola Tinubu to a public debate, urging Nigerians to vote for a change in leadership to address the country's security challenges.

The SDP candidate promised to establish four functional refineries, raise electricity generation to 75,000 megawatts, and maintain petrol prices at not more than N200 per litre. The manifesto also includes plans to tackle unemployment, poverty, and energy challenges, aiming to create a secure and prosperous Nigeria for its citizens.
