South Korean man, in his 50s, dies 3 months after wedding, claims Vietnamese wife caused him extreme suffering

Mr. A, a South Korean man in his 50s, passed away three months after his wedding. This tragic tale was shared on a YouTube channel by a close friend of the deceased. The friend stated that Mr. A had wed a Vietnamese woman shortly after his mother's death. Initially, Mr. A had seen only a photograph of his bride and had not met her before tying the knot.

Despite some initial disagreements concerning tattoos and medical examinations, the couple proceeded with the marriage. Yet, their happiness was short-lived as persistent issues arose within their relationship. Mrs. A insisted on residing in a separate room and even desired to return to Vietnam. Mr. A confided in his friend about his marital struggles daily.

Eventually, Mrs. A announced her intention to return to Vietnam. When Mr. A attempted to persuade her to stay, an altercation ensued. According to the friend, Mr. A sustained a facial injury while asleep and retaliated afterward. The police were alerted, and Mrs. A was removed for her own safety. The friend revealed that Mr. A disagreed with the police's account, claiming he had been the more grievously affected.

Upon his subsequent visit to Mr. A's residence, the friend noted that Mr. A bore bruises on his face, along with bite and scratch marks across his body. Mr. A also disclosed that he had endured three broken teeth in a prior fight, following his wife's alleged knee strike to his face. Furthermore, he had reportedly fallen into depression after the incident and attempted self-harm multiple times. Tragically, Mr. A succumbed to cardiac arrest approximately three months following their marriage.
