Sheikh Mohammed visits Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who is both the Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, paid a visit to the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi on Monday. During his tour, he was given an overview of the museum's extensive collections, interactive exhibits, and cutting-edge technologies. These included rare meteorites, fossils, and simulated recreations of Abu Dhabi's natural landscape, according to state news agency Wam.

The Sheikh expressed his belief that investing in museums was a crucial step towards securing the future of humanity. He emphasized that such investments foster awareness in the younger generation, enabling them to better comprehend the past and shape the future with a deeper understanding of history.

Sheikh Mohammed also pointed out that the UAE's flourishing museum sector serves as a testament to the country's increasing dedication to its cultural and heritage institutions. He reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to supporting and nurturing its cultural sectors, with museums playing a pivotal role in preserving the nation's heritage and bridging the gap between the past and the present.
