Sheikh Mohammed visits Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi

Dubai's Prime Minister and Ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, paid a visit to the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi on Monday. The visit aimed to provide Sheikh Mohammed with an overview of the museum's extensive collections, interactive exhibits, and state-of-the-art technologies. Among the highlights were rare meteorites, fossils, and imaginative reconstructions of Abu Dhabi's natural environment, according to the state news agency Wam.

During the tour, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his belief that investing in museums was investing in humanity's future. He emphasized that such institutions foster awareness among upcoming generations, enabling them to shape the future with a deeper understanding of the past. The Sheikh also praised the UAE's flourishing museum sector as a testament to the country's increasing commitment to its cultural and heritage institutions.

Sheikh Mohammed reiterated the UAE's ongoing support for and development of its cultural sectors, with museums playing a crucial role in preserving the nation's heritage and connecting it with the world at large.
