Sanjay Dutt responds to minister’s request to speak in Marathi: ‘Jail me nahi seekha’

Actor Sanjay Dutt recently turned down a request to speak in Marathi at a Mumbai event. The invitation came from Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik, who had previously urged the actor to address the gathering in the language. Dutt humorously explained that despite his six years in Yerwada Jail, he still couldn't learn Marathi, though he had picked up a little of the language. His comment left Sarnaik laughing uncontrollably.

The incident was captured in a viral video, with Shiv Sena Minister Sarnaik standing next to Dutt, who then embraced him and expressed his gratitude for being invited to the event. Dutt mentioned their long-standing relationship, which goes back around 25 years. Earlier, Sarnaik had stated that he has been teaching everyone Marathi these days.
