Qatar Society of Engineers to organise conference and exhibition in October

Doha, Qatar - The Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE) is preparing to host the "Engineering Consulting Conference and Exhibition 2026" on October 6 and 7. This event aims to unite consulting firms and key stakeholders in a venue to foster genuine partnerships and uncover fresh possibilities. The conference will invite leading project owners, government and private bodies, engineers, and enthusiasts of the engineering and construction industries.

The conference and its accompanying exhibition are a continuation of the Society's continuous efforts to elevate the engineering sector and improve communication among diverse stakeholders. They will do this by demonstrating excellence and innovation, exhibiting advanced engineering capabilities, and allowing the exchange of expertise and knowledge in engineering, planning, and project management.

This, in turn, will bolster the prominence of leading companies in the engineering consulting industry and contribute to the overall development system in Qatar.

The conference's primary objectives and themes will encompass discussing legislation and challenges in engineering consulting practice, establishing the principles of sustainability, building design, and efficient engineering designs, examining digital transformation applications and artificial intelligence tools, and underlining the role of local products and the role of engineering firms in addressing engineering issues.

The one-week-long conference will consist of a variety of events and activities, involving six panel discussions and six presentations by the participating consulting firms.
