Pukul budak autistik calit najis, guru taska didenda RM800

In a recent court case, a 43-year-old teacher named Lenah Abdul was fined RM800 by the Klang Magistrate's Court for allegedly assaulting an autistic seven-year-old boy at a task centre in Taman Sentosa, Klang. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. on August 28th of last year. The victim's father was not satisfied with the punishment after seeing the soiled condition of his son's body before requesting an explanation from the accused and filing a police report.

According to Kosmo, Magistrate Siti Zubaidah Mahat ordered the defendant, Lenah Abdul, to serve seven days in jail if she failed to pay the RM800 fine. The defendant paid the fine and was subsequently released. The case was brought against the accused under Section 334 of the Penal Code, which carries a sentence of up to one year in prison or a fine of RM1,000, or both, if proven guilty.

The facts of the case state that the defendant struck the victim's leg with a garment belt while transporting the autistic child. The victim's father then expressed dissatisfaction after witnessing the soiled state of his son's body before requesting an explanation from the defendant and making a police report. Legal counsel Adam Rosli, in his mitigation, explained that the defendant, who is a mother of five children including an autistic child, only earned RM1,700 per month.

She stated that on the day of the incident, the victim had smeared feces from their diaper on the task centre's wall before becoming aggressive. The defendant was responsible for supervising seven children under her care, and on the day of the incident, things went out of control, leading to her actions.
