Pukul budak autistik calit najis, guru taska didenda RM800

In a recent court ruling, a 43-year-old woman, Lenah Abdul, has been fined RM800 by the Klang Magistrate Court for assaulting an autistic seven-year-old boy at a task center in Taman Sentosa, Klang. Magistrate Siti Zubaidah Mahat ordered the convicted woman to serve a seven-day jail term if she fails to pay the fine. The defendant has already paid the fine.

According to the complaint, the mother of five children was accused of intentionally causing injury to the autistic male child at the task center around 10 am on August 28th last year. The accusation was made based on Section 334 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of one month in jail, a fine of RM1,000, or both, if proven guilty.

In the case facts, the defendant allegedly struck the victim's leg with a cloth while transporting the child. The victim's father was not satisfied after seeing the pus-filled wound on his son's body before requesting an explanation from the defendant and filing a police report. Defense lawyer Adam Rosli explained to the court that the defendant, who is a mother of five children including an autistic child, only earns RM1,700 per month.

He stated that during the incident, the victim smeared excrement from his diaper on the task center wall, making it dirty, and became aggressive. The defendant had to monitor seven children under her care, and on the day of the incident, she lost control, leading to her actions.
