Ministry to pursue action against Thaicom, GULF
The cabinet has authorised the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DES) to pursue arbitration and/or court proceedings against Thaicom Plc and Gulf Development Plc (GULF) over an alleged incomplete handover of assets under Thailand's former domestic communications satellite concession, with the state seeking at least 1.26 billion baht in fines and damages.
