Police in Shah Alam have confirmed the discovery of a male corpse that had been lynched near the Persiaran Balairong U8 area in Bukit Jelutong today. The Chief of Police, Sarudin Samah, announced the news based on a report received around 2:45 pm from the public. Initial investigations revealed that the victim's identity could not be ascertained due to the absence of any identification documents with them at the scene.
Physical examination of the deceased's body was also unable to be conducted because of the lynching, believed to have occurred more than a week ago according to the condition of the body. The body was then sent to the Forensic Medicine Department of Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, Utar Puncak Alam for autopsy. The case has been classified as a shocking murder.
