Malini Sharma reveals why she quit films after Raaz; doesn’t rule out acting comeback

Malini Sharma, the actress who gained fame after her debut in Raaz, has revealed the reason behind her exit from the film industry. She stated that she stepped away to focus on raising her children, rather than disappearing from the spotlight as some may have thought. Over the years, Malini has found solace away from the camera, working behind the scenes and building her brand, The Slow Local.

Despite her recent viral moment on Instagram, where she received numerous messages and calls from fans, she has not confirmed a return to acting. However, she did not rule out a possible comeback, saying, "Let's see, Kismet mein hoga toh." Malini initially did not aspire to become an actress and only went along with it due to the opportunity presented by Raaz.

She was married to actor-model Priyanshu Chatterjee at the time of her rise to fame, which later ended in divorce. Born to a Hindu family but married to a Muslim, Malini does not follow any specific religion and celebrates all festivals with her own beliefs.
