Kelsey Pope will face twin brother in Tennessee-Georgia Tech game

Kelsey Pope, the pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach at Tennessee for his sixth season in 2026, will face his twin brother Kyle Pope in the Tennessee-Georgia Tech game on Saturday. Kyle, who takes on the role of defensive ends and outside linebackers coach at Georgia Tech, made his mark at the Yellow Jackets after serving in various coaching positions at Memphis, Liberty, Alabama, Presbyterian, and Holmes Community College.

Kelsey Pope, once a wide receiver at Samford from 2010-13, joined Tennessee in 2020 as the pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach after being an offensive analyst in Josh Heupel's inaugural season as Vols head coach. Georgia Tech's Kyle Pope, a former linebacker at Jacksonville State from 2011-14, played his college football at Jacksonville State from 2011-14.

The kickoff for the highly anticipated game between the two teams is set for 7 p.m. EDT at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
