Government and JI resume talks on petrol levy
The government and Jamaat-e-Islami have agreed to continue talks on eliminating the petroleum levy. The first round ended in Islamabad on Sunday. JI presented six proposals aimed at reducing the financial burden on consumers. Both sides will meet again on Thursday after government consultations.
